The F1F Virtual Grand Prix Championship will see the debut of V12 engines as of next season. In addition to this it has been revealed that the team's will be using 2010 spec cars from next season onwards. For what will be the first and past two seasons; the series has used 2007 spec F1 car's and V8 engines. However after many rumor's it has been confirmed that V12 engines and 2010 spec F1 car's will be introduced next season. Slick tire's will also be used.
This is not with controversy however as Greenpeace were willing on a change to V6 engines; instead the complete opposite. More controversy is about as series CEO Nic Morley confirmed that Tobacco and Alcohol sponsorship is and has always been allowed. "I'm happy for the series to move to V12 engine's. I think it's great for the people involved, the fans to turn up and hear the pure grunt of a V12 engine roaring down the pit straight of Monza. I'm really looking forward to seeing these race's next season and I think the fan's will too", said Nic Morley. "Team's will be using 2010 spec car's next season too, so that's also quite exiting. A little shake up, something different. Not only that but we get to see slick tires and overall a cleaner look of the car. It's exiting and will be interesting to see what team's come up with next season", continued Morley. Nic Morley also touched on the subject of Tobacco and Alcohol sponsorship. "The series and myself have never had an issue with it, and it has always been allowed. No team has used it yet and they may never, but it's allowed in this series", finished Nic Morley.
