Adrien Simon has taken his third consecutive pole position in the 2016 season ahead of tomorrow's Canadian V-Prix. Simon will share the front row with Carson Davenport, while his team mate and closest championship rival - Olen Inman - could only manage fifth. Following practice yesterday DS Mathershaw seemed to have an advantage similar to Bahrain last time out and Simon duly capitalised on this, however Inman struggled to complete a clean lap and will start the race behind both FUN's, Enrique Ruiz's Franklin and most importantly his team mate.
Nikolai Milkovich joins Inman on row three ahead of the two Meteors with the second Ingram and Franklin of Jean Mattson and Elroy Wagner rounding out the top ten. Felix Beyer out-qualified team mate Lewis Ellington for the first time in four races as AMR once again occupied the sixth row ahead of the Lopez and Westwood cars. Nathaniel Powers won the Downton battle on row nine while behind them the returning Puccio Giodano out-qualified Karl Beckenbauer, and Judson Sikes once again topped the battle of the new teams; however Douglas Bacon put in a fine lap to join him on the twelfth row ahead of the second North Star of Aleksy Nowosinki.
