Ruiz will be looking to finally add to his solitary point, while Wagner's aim will be to extend his Championship lead.
Puccio Giodano continued Rossi's recent strong form in third, but Spanish V-Prix winner Enzo Domenicalli endured a miserable session and could only manage fifteenth fastest. Giodano shares the second row with Nathaniel Powers - who will be looking for his first finish in three races - while his Downton team mate Marcus Thunder lines up eighth. Nikolai Milkovich lines up fifth - just five thousandths ahead of Liverpool's Adrien Simon - while their respective team mates are seventh and eleventh, with Karl Beckenbauer outside of the top ten after suffering from handling problems. The two Westwood drivers both broke into the top ten ten with Will Hoskins out-qualifying Tumo Kinnumen, while the two AMR's were also line astern, but in twelfth and thirteenth, with Hiroto Nakumaya besting Felix Beyer by six thousandths of a second. Carson Davenport put in FUN's best qualifying of the season in fourteenth while team mate Romano Agostino was back in seventeenth with the Meteor's either side; Harrison sixteenth and Parsons eighteenth. With Lucas not entering the race the back four spots on the grid were filled with the Ocelot's and Warrior's; Dwyer leading Harding, Sikes and Osterhagen. As with the last two races Ruiz has completed the first part of his job, and if previous races are to go by it's safe to assume he'll ease away up front. The big question however, is will he make it to the end?
