Ruiz bettered his best time from the opening day by 0.071, ensuring he has the two fastest times of the test so far heading into the final day. Gerrard impressed for Liverpool, setting a time of 1:24.498, just over two tenths slower than Karl Beckenbauer's from day two, and just over two tenths quicker than Adrien Simon's from the opening day. Arden Hutchinson kept the smiles on the faces of the returning Meteor boys, lowering his time from day two by two tenths and finishing the day third, one better than he managed yesterday. Enzo Domenicalli's only day of pre-season testing in the Rossi ran smoothly, with him finishing fourth with a lap two tenths quicker than Phipps managed on either of the first two days. The surprise of the day was Felix Beyer finishing fifth in the AMR, with a 1:25.014, 6 tenths faster than Gerard Alaniz had managed, and just ahead of Carson Davenport in the repaired FUN. Abel Osterhagen was seventh for Warrior, ahead of Lewis Ellington on his first day in the Lucas. After the highs of third yesterday, Westwood finished 9th in the times today back in the hands of Tumo Kinnumen, with Thunder's Downton just behind in 10th. The team who finished 3rd last season have not had the best of test's so far, and Downton admit they expect to find themselves near the back in Australia. Another team that'll have long faces are Ingram, as they finish a second consecutive day with Nikolai Milkovich in the car down in the eleventh place. Bringing up the rear were newcomers Ocelot, who ran reserve driver Felipe Cesar. Despite being quicker than Judson Sikes in the young driver test at the end of 2014, his lap today was two tenths slower. The final day will see some big names take to the track. Wagner, Beckenbauer, Powers, Mattson and Hoskins return to their Franklin, Liverpool, Downton, Ingram and Westwood cars respectively, while Giodano get's his first run in the Rossi. Davenport will also run again for FUN, Ellington likewise for Lucas, Nakumaya gets his first day in the AMR, as does Harding in the Warrior, while Harrison and Parsons return to the Meteor and Ocelot respectively for their first run since the opening day.
