Ocelot team principle Rai Miyamoto today announced that Puccio Giodano will be missing the Italian GP following the events that transpired at SPA. ''The team and the medical team have decided that it would not be safe for Giodano to race following the incident. We can not comment any further however on his condition but we wish him a speedy recovery and know he would have loved to have competed at his home GP.''
Former team-mate and next year reserve driver Enzo Domenicali had the following to say in regards to the accident. ''It was an absolutely horrifying accident, especially as you tend to go flat out down that section. I have gone to see him though and he's a true warrior, I can tell you that.
Ocelot also announced reserve driver Hilaro Bull will replace the Italian as he recovers from the particular injury.
