Nathaniel Powers was fastest in practice ahead of this weekends German V-Prix, just over a quarter of a second quicker than team mate Klaas van Snelheid as the Downton cars continued to lead the times.
Franklin proved their closest competitors with Enrique Ruiz third quickest ahead of Puccio Giodano, while Lewis Ellington was fifth for Holmqvist with an impressive performance. His team mate Kiara Thunder was also in the top ten with eighth place, just behind Will Hoskins who surprised for AMR.
Gabriele Garcia was given another practice run at North Star - once more at the expense of Aleksy Nowosinki - but unlike last time was able to complete laps, and at a pace quicker than team mate Judson Sikes.
The biggest shock of the session was the lack of pace from Adrien Simon. The world champion was heard complaining regularly on the radio about a lack of grip and ended the session over two seconds down on Powers fastest time in 22nd place.
