Phoenix Motorsport have become the next team to confirm their livery change for the 100th V-Prix in Belgium next weekend. The official Phoenix Motorsport Twitter account posted the pictures this morning and team principal Alex Easton later took to Twitter himself to talk about the livery. “I hope you all like the special livery! First of all, I’d like to say how much I’ve loved all the other ones I’ve seen so far, every single one. Originally, we toyed with the idea of commemorating FUN – the team we replaced – but after mulling it over, we didn’t feel comfortable doing so as their history is their own and ours is ours, we couldn’t do Dick and his team justice. So, in the end we came up with this one, which really isn’t about Phoenix at all, it’s a celebration of Formula Virtual reaching this incredible milestone.” He then went on to say; “It’s a monumental occasion to be honest, I would like to take this opportunity to send out a massive thank you to every single person involved with FV who has made it what it is over the years. From Antonio Rossi to Ahmed Cheema, and of course a huge thank you to Nic Morley. I’m not sure he realises fully but just by running this series, he’s changed the lives of lots of Phoenix employees, myself included. Thank you Nic, here’s to many more seasons of Formula Virtual!” More images of the gold Phoenix livery below: Comments are closed.
