The idea of permanent numbers for teams has gained further momentum following the start of the idea last December. Nic Morley has confirmed that a vote amongst team principals will take place.
The idea was shown to the world last December, receiving mixed reviews from the F1F Virtual paddock. Robert Mathershaw has previously shown his appreciation of the idea, while other managers such as Bradley Downton have been against it.
"Last month I said it was an idea and I hadn't heard much about it. I for one prefer ordered numbers, but the idea of teams having more of a personality, legacy I have warmed too. It's not up to me, but the teams. A vote will be taken place and a decision will be made sometime next week", claimed Morley.
It is believed if the idea did get the green light teams would have to choose numbers between 3 and 98. The championship winning team would be though to race with the number 1 and 2.
