After Ruiz held provisional pole for most of the rain affected session, Nathaniel Powers was able to pip him to the post, and starts from pole position for the final race of the season, with Ruiz lining up alongside on the front row. The wet conditions proved tricky for all the drivers, but some notable performances were made across the field, especially Giodano and Davenport, making it into the top ten after escaping Q1, while Nikolai Milkovic was eliminated after snatching a brake in the dry into Juncao and suffering terminal damage. Adrien Simon also performed admirably in the torrid weather, securing a spot on the second row of the grid for tomorrow. Q1
