Lewis Ellington would be welcomed back to the team in a split second according to team principal, Kazuki Armos, after Ellington left the team for Lucas GP at the end of last year.
In an interview with VirtualSport, Armos outlined his goal for 2015 as being Lucas Grand Prix.
'I think this year will be a tough one, it is all unknown. Lucas should be a little ahead of us at the start of the season, but it is a known rumour they've spent a lot, it is our goal to capitalise and try to finish ahead of them'.
Meteor parted way with the British driver after a contract could not be agreed between either parties with financial reasons being cited as the cause.
Relatively frequently Armos has been highly praising Ellington, the driver who powered his team to a first victory.
'Lewis is fantastic, he is an asset to any team. He knows that we will always welcome him back to Meteor, the door would always be open. If the option is ever financially viable, I will make an offer.'
For the 2015 Formula Virtual season, Meteor are fielding two rookies, Stuart Harrison and Arden Hutchinson.
