Meteor Motorsport have announced that they will race a special edition KA-01 for one race, next round in Italy. The car marks the singing of a new deal to support charity MadTrust and the Really Useful Group. The car is carrying a special edition branding and supporting Stephen Ward the Musical. The car is being named SW-01 for this round only. Kazuki Armos has also announced that both cars that race in Italy with the branded livery will be put up for auction with all takings heading to MadTrust. MadTrust, fully known as, The Make A Difference Trust, unites the audience and entertainment industry to support those with HIV, AIDS and other long-term chronic illnesses. The car was given a special test run at the newly built Peugeot test track where those who the charity support were given an opportunity to watch the car around the track and even meet the drivers. Upon the announcement Kazuki Armos said, 'I am happy to announce the deal with MadTrust. They are a fantastic charity and we are glad to be helping them further by making an even wider audience aware of the fantastic work that they do. This is a charity very close to me and I am proud to be supporting them further. I very much these cars raise a large sum of money for the charity when they go up for auction'. The team also signed a deal with The Really Useful Group, owned by Andrew Lloyd Webber. This new deal has allowed the team to showcase and promote the Stephen Ward musical. 'I am also happy to say we shall be promoting Stephen Ward the Musical as part of our MadTrust campaign. We are pleased that we agreed terms with the Really Useful Group to showcase the new show which opened only in December. I have seen the show myself and I believe that the show is very deserving of all support it receives. I hope we can gather even more support for it', Armos later said. Meteor also confirmed that the deal will continue into next season with small Stephen Ward logos appearing on the car.* Kazuki Armos also confirmed rumours that they team have reverted to the title Peugeot F1 Team next season. *Subject to Stephen Ward the Musical still being open or closure not announced prior to season starting.
