From the Lucas Wilson GP press office. Lucas Wilson (Team owner and Principal)
"I think we had some good speed all weekend, but this was ruined slightly by our start and we were involved in a couple of accidents. One took out Carson [Davenport] at the start and ruined his chances as the car was very badly damaged. We had good speed but we lost a lot of time in the first half of the race. We were running good and would have ended up in 10th place at the end. Unfortunately Dywer was involved in two accidents, one where he collided with a Mathershaw and one where he had a moment with the wall at Turn 1. We finished second to last with the remaining car, not where we wanted to be. But we are hopeful for Monza." Carson Davenport (Driver) "For sure, we had a quick car at the weekend, possibility for points. But I did not get to race much this afternoon as I was caught up in the midpack at the start . James Harding moved in front of me and braked quite sharply because of the concertina effect and I and didn't react quick enough which resulted in me losing the front wing and the back wing. But I look forward to the Italian GP and hopefully I can finish in the points." Hugh Dywer (Driver) "Bit of a horrible afternoon today, I managed to get around the first corner without contact. I was running well when Beckenbauer spun in-front of me and I had to pit for a new front wing. The I had a moment with the wall which took the front wing off again. A day to forget."
