Liverpool Grand Prix have once again topped Pre season testing and have represent themselves to be clear favorites at next weekends Australian Grand Prix.
It was the final day of testing at Jerez with the teams lucky to finish before the predicted downpour. It was once again Liverpool Grand Prix who stormed to the top of the time sheets, this time in the hands of Adrien Simon with a 1.28.905. Peugeot F1 Team ended of their Pre season testing on a high setting the second quickest time of the day with Lewis Ellington behind the wheel. Will Hoskins ended of testing for Franklin setting the third fastest time.
Scuderia Rossi were fourth fastest for the second day in succession this time with Puccio Giodano in the cockpit. Downton F1 Team were once again fifth fastest as Nathaniel Powers rounded out the final day of Pre season testing for them. Tumo Kinnumen set the sixth fastest lap time, showing an improvement for Westwood Racing after the last couple of days.
Diego Campos and Ingram Grand Prix were seventh fastest, with the team again showing they look to have made improvements over last season. Team 23 were eight quickest on track in the hands of Jean Mattson; certainly not where they would have wanted to end off a rather disappointing pre season testing.
Kurtis Gardner was ninth quickest for Lucas Grand Prix while no clear pictures show where the team is in terms of performance. Hugh Dwyer was next for Fun F1 setting the tenth fastest time on the final day of testing. Warrior Racing got one over Force Australia with Michal Kubat setting the eleventh fastest lap time ahead of Felix Beyer.
Pre season testing is all over leaving the teams and drivers waiting until next week to hop back into their cars. Throughout the four days it has seen Liverpool at the top with challengers in the likes of Rossi, Peugeot, and Franklin. However all the teams will need to wait until Melbourne to see where they stand in the pecking order for the upcoming season.
The first round of the Season Two championship is set to beginning next week at the Australian Grand Prix,
