Hello, and welcome to the qualifying for the British Junior Grand Prix live from Brands Hatch, where the winner of the race will recieve the new RAC Junior Tourist Trophy, meaning the recipient will join former winners of the Senior prize in the past such as Tazio Nuvolari, Stirling Moss and Carroll Shelby, to more recent winners like Allan McNish, Alain Menu and Tom Kristensen.
Today's qualifying session will be a 15 minute session, and follows the free practice session in which the drivers got a chance to familiarise themselves with iconic corners like Paddock Hill, Druids and later on Dingle Dell and Clearways. The weather is glorious sunshine, but the track temperature is a low 22 degrees.
