Meteor lock out the second row with Johan Halvosen ahead of Stuart Harrison, while Nikolai Milkovich heads a disappointed Adrien Simon on row three - who felt there was much more to extract from the car, despite being just 0.385 away from pole position.
FUN couldn't quite replicate their practice performance but nonetheless secure two places in the top ten - mixing with the world champion duo at Franklin for seventh to tenth. James Harding heads the sixth row ahead of Tumo Kinnumen, while Jochem van Snelheid just pipped Downton's Nathaniel Powers by 0.001 for thirteenth.
The lead AMR is home driver Lewis Ellington - who lines up between the two Downton's - while Kip Maxwell completes a block of four British drivers back-to-back on the grid in seventeenth. Felix Beyer struggled all day and ended up eighteenth - seven tenths behind Maxwell - but still three ahead of Ocelot, who continue to struggle following the European updates.
Towards the back North Star once again win the battle of the new teams with Judson Sikes putting one over his Polish team mate, while Holmqvist once again complete the grid.
