Having decided against retaining Edgardo Agretha, two new faces will join the paddock for season 2, as Ingram GP's second and test drivers. In a press conference held today, Ingram had news regarding next year's drivers and the Ingram Hawk.
"Firstly, I am delighted to announce the signings of Niko and Arden will join Diego Campos behind the wheel of an Ingram next season!" exclaimed a clearly delighted William Ingram. "I believe we have signed two drivers of the highest calibre, and I hope we can give them a car that will match their ability". For season 1, Ingram ran 4 drivers, Diego Campos, Jonas Phipps, Enrique Ruiz and Edgardo Agretha. Campos has been retained, Phipps moved to Lucas GP, Ruiz returned to constructors champions Franklin and the team decided against retaining the services of Agretha. "We seriously considered keeping Eddie for this year, but having run him against Arden in the simulator we decided to go for the Austrian. Niko was much more clear cut, he has had a good career up to this point and I was surprised to get him with no competition." Nikolai Milkovich ("Niko") is a 28 year old Russian and says he looks forward to his first season - "This series is the peak of motorsport, so when Will gave me the call I signed as soon as I could. I hope to push Diego early on and hopefully finish ahead of him". Arden Hutchinson, the team's new 25 year old test driver, claimed he was looking forward to the season ahead, but hopes he will get a chance to showcase his talents.
