Today, the IJGPC returns, with the next race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway mere moments away, and the race starts on a wet track. Qualifying13th van Snelheid 14th Barone 15th Bruner 16th Ostberg 17th Heininen 18th Dekzwabber 19th Dubois 20th Murphy 21th Fyodorov 22th Andreolli The RaceAfter a hectic start, Bayurn Zrigovic was eliminated on the first lap after spinning, then being collected by Costa and Daniau from 10th and 11th respectively. This meant there was a very long safety car, and by the time racing got underway on lap 9, the track was beginning to dry a lot. Liverpool decided to go against the grain of the IJGPC races, making the first pitstop in the history of the series to fit slick tyres. In a single lap, he managed to catch the stragglers at the back, while Svensson and Murphy collided, meaning his fastest laps were unhindered by traffic. A lap later, the rest of the field decided to follow Liverpool's lead, and came in for dry tyres. At this point, Ostberg managed to get through to first place with only 10 laps remaining. In the pitlane, there was carnage, with Oliveira-Martins stalling and failing to get the car restarted, while Harrison in the Peugeot managed to take a distant second. Fyodorov was a major winner, rising to 6th place, before being passed by fellow lucky team mate Henk Dekzwabber. Emma Wilson took the final podium position, while Viktor Ostberg made the most of an extremely lucky decision to pull him in early to win his maiden event in unbelievable fashion.
