After practice yesterday it seemed pole would be between DS, Fun and Meteor, but the American outfit could never quite match the pace of their rivals and will line up on the sixth row. The Honda powered teams completed the top ten but once again struggled to match their rivals with Elroy Wagner the highest in seventh, seven tenths shy of sixth placed Stuart Harrison.
As in practice the AMR's were eleventh and twelfth quickest with Lewis Ellington a stunning eight tenths quicker than Felix Beyer, while behind Nikolajis Christodoulou will join James Harding on row seven after out qualifying team mate Tumo Kinnumen in his first race. Arden Hutchinson was quickest of the new teams for FIRST while Sebastian Bergkvist couldn't match his heroics of yesterday and will start last for his maiden race, four tenths slower than team mate Kiara Thunder.
