Like yesterday there were various yellow flags throughout the hour long session, but only one red caused by Puccio Giodano spinning off at turn three and stalling, resulting in the Italian only being 23rd fastest. Elroy Wagner will join Harding on the front row however - albeit with a time over one second slower than the pole man - with wet weather specialist Felix Beyer heading row two for AMR ahead of Jean Mattson - despite the Ingram driver spending 20 minutes in the pits at the start of the session as the team repaired a suspected fuel leak. Karl Beckenbauer was fifth quickest ahead of Lewis Ellington - suggesting AMR have a car set up for the wet conditions - while Kiara Thunder and Douglas Bacon of new teams Holmqvist and FIRST both shocked the paddock to line up on the fourth row. Marcus Thunder was ninth quickest despite two spins, ahead of Olen Inman - who will start a V-Prix from somewhere other than pole position for the first time in his career. Adrien Simon and Enrique Ruiz will line up together on row six, while Jochem van Snelheid and Meteor pair of championship leader Johan Halvosen and Stuart Harrison were hugely disappointed with 15th, 16th and 18th respectively. Nathaniel Powers also endured a difficult day for Downton, only managing three laps within the first ten minutes before a mistake at the final corner and a brush with the wall ruled him out for the rest of the session.
