FUN FV have finally revealed their new livery for the 2017 FV-season. The new car carries the name FUN-510W. The team has used it's old livery during the first 2 races of the season due to a lack of new title-sponsor, but they finally found one in Finnair, a Finnish airline. The livery was designed by the British design team Downton & Mathershaw
"We are very pleased to finally reveal our new livery for the ongoing season. The search for a new sponsor took a bit of a time, but we are glad to announce that Finnair has decided to join the FV-family with us. We wanted to celebrate the 100th birthday of Finland with a livery that looks Finnish, and I am very pleased with the work the design team has done with it", said Dick Diceman in the FUN-website. The team has also announced that Yrjänä Vähäsöyrinki will remain as their test-driver for the 2017 season. The Finnish "youngster" has received a lot of criticism for his rather uninspiring results in the lower series, but team-principal Diceman claims that Vähäsöyrinki is in the team because of his talent: "Vähäsöyrinki is a hugely respected member of the FUN-family, and the work he does in our simulator is very important for us. I am extremely pleased that he is staying in our team." FUN-FV have had a difficult start to the season with their new Volvo-engines, and rumors say they are already considering switching their focus to their 2018 car.
