FUN FV have confirmed that their line-up will remain unchanged for the 2018 season as both Carson Davenport and Olen Inman were given 1-year contract extensions. The expected announcement came shortly after the French VP. As usual, team-principal Dick Diceman was "very happy" for the news:
"I am extremely delighted that both Olen and Carson have showed their faith in our project by agreeing to extend their contracts. It is safe to say that this season has been very difficult for the team, and will be unlikely to get any better, but despite that our drivers chose to stay loyal. We are learning new things every day, and gathering information for the development of future season is our main priority at the moment. Together, we can achieve great things in the future." FUN FV, who switched to Volvo-engines for this season, have been struggling after brilliant 2016 and are yet to score a single point this season. Some rumors say the team has already given up on this season and are fully focusing to become competitive again in 2018. Despite very difficult start with Volvo, the team is reported to have agreed to extend their contract with the Swedish manufacturer until 2019. This, however, is yet to be confirmed.
