Team Principal and owner of JFPT Franklin-Honda has officially announced that 21 year old Swiss driver, Danilo Forini, will be racing for former World Champions in 2021. "We're really pleased to announce that Danilo will not only be joining us in 2021, but has secured a race seat as well. I think the data has shown in the feeder series that he certainly has the talent to succeed in Formula Virtual, and we're confident that he can not only deliver to a high standard, but also help us look towards the future in this rebuilding phase. It's no secret that in past years we've looked past young drivers in favour of more established talent, but we've decided to forego that approach and will start a new chapter by bringing in new, fresh talent,"
"This is a dream come true," Began the Swiss driver. "Franklin is a legendary team in the world of Formula Virtual. They may be in somewhat of a err...difficult time at the moment, but I think they can bounce back and I am very much looking forward to what we can build together for the future. Now my aim is to do as well as I can this year to prove that I deserve this opportunity," The news itself may come as a shock to both Nick Addison and Kiara Thunder, both of whom currently are contracted with Franklin for 2021 as well. Nick Addison has seen plenty of relative success for the team this year, with a point scoring finish at the team's home race in Silverstone, whilst Kiara Thunder may be feeling under pressure after needing to jump into the race seat following Enzo Dominicalli's injury, and failing to match the Australian's pace in both qualifying and the three races they've shared together.
