Brazilian Felipe Cesar led the final day of the Young Driver Test driving the championship winning 2015 Franklin. Cesar's best time of 1.12.399 was good enough for the quickest time of the day. Once it again it was a Westwood who finished runner up to a Franklin - this time being Will Taylor who was just under three tenths away from Cesar. It was another warm and sunny day at the Estoril circuit, where twelve young hopefuls got their chance to prove their worth in a bid to secure future Formula Virtual race seats. Felipe Cesar was the star of the day while Will Taylor was runner up. Allar Kangur drove the 2015 Liverpool and posted the third fastest time of the day; only a tenth behind Will Taylor's time in the Westwood. The highly anticipated Klaas van Snelheid set the fourth quickest lap time of the day while driving for Downton. American driver Sam Hudson rounded out the top five with a lap time seven tenths off the days best - he drove the 2015 Ingram.
Australian driver Hunter Ryan once again put some lap times in for AMR and as such was once again left with the sixth quickest time. Rodrigo Sanchez and Yrjana Vahasoyrinki also continued with their respective teams into the second day of testing; Meteor and FUN. The Mexican and Finnish driver were seventh and eighth fastest. Ryota Yoshida set a lap time good enough for ninth quickest driving for Ocelot. Felix Perez was the second Mexican driver to take part in the Young Driver Test. Perez got his chance in the 2015 Lucas and ended up tenth fastest - driving for FIRST. Viktor Ostberg was eleventh quickest - the Swede driving the 2015 Warrior. Aleksy Nowosinki will make Formula Virtual history this year as he will be making his debut for North Star Racing and as such will become the first Polish driver to compete in the championship. Nowosinki finished last with a lap time just under two seconds off the fastest time. The 2015 Young Driver Test has now been wrapped up and the next big focus the teams will have is 2016 pre season testing, which is expected to begin in mid May.
