Emma Wilson has finished Day 4 on top for AMR after setting the fastest time of the day, albeit with the aid of the extra-soft compound of tyre. The Brit set a time of 55.694 seconds early in the session and nobody was able to beat it. Enrique Ruiz got the closest to beating the laptime after lapping just 31 milliseconds slower not once, but twice. He was closely followed by the driver who's seat he recently took at Porsche, in Allar Kangur. The pair of them both set their fastest times on the medium tyres, and their Porsche power units finally got through a full day's worth of testing without any issues. The top 3 were also the only drivers to break the 56 second barrier. Will Hoskins and Dominykas Zvironas rounded out the Top 5. While they were both not too far off the pace, they set their fastest times on the soft compound. This brought about suprised looks from both themselves, and some of the teams expected to be battling them by the time we get to Round 1 in Australia. Along with Emma Wilson, Giani Ledesma and Diego Campos were the only other drivers to run the extra-soft tyre on the final day. They finished the day 6th and 7th respectively, less than half a second off the fastest time. Both drivers were getting ready to begin their second runs before Gabriele Garcia brought out the first of 2 red flags of the day. He completed 19 laps before he lost the rear violently in the middle of the Turn 6 and 7 complex, sending him straight into the fence. Garcia was uninjured, and ended up rounding out the Top 10 behind Matteo Zetticci in the Downton, and Yakumi Takahashi in the Arrow. The young Downton reserve driver struggled early with the little grip that he could extract from the hard tyre, but he knuckled down well after the red flag setting consistent lap times. Takahashi and Garcia on the other hand were both using the soft compound on the final day. Karl Beckenbauer had an uneventful day on his way to P11 in the Westwood on mediums, and he was the last driver to lap within a second of Emma Wilson. Wilson's compatriot, James Thompson from Phoenix caused the second red flag of the day when his Downton engine shut up shop going through Turn 3 with 15 minutes left on the clock. Thompson, using the hard compound, was 10th at the time but dropped to 12th by the end of the session. James Vasquez also finished testing on the hard tyres, and he too complained of a lack of grip in both English and Spanish over the team radio on his way to 13th. He finished ahead of Nick Addison, who's final lap on the mediums after the session restarted was enough to see him jump Arden Hutchinson for 14th place. Hutchinson on the other hand used the hard tyres on the final day, and was just under a tenth and a half behind the Australian, and slowest of everybody.
