Richard Peluso has announced that Meteor's 2015 test driver, Johan Havolsen, will progress into a permanent racing seat in place of Arden Hutchinson.
Having completed several practice sessions in recent races, Halvosen was widely expected to take the second racing seat. However, in a more unexpected announcement, Peluso also confirmed that Arden Hutchinson will be leaving Meteor after the United States V-Prix, with the team citing unreconcilable differences.
Peluso offered no comment on whether Hutchinson's early exit came from the driver or the team, but insisted that Halvosen's early move was 'a sign of the team planning ahead to take as much consistency into the next season as possible'.
It is understood that Halvosen is on a two year deal with Meteor has a race driver, however this is to be confirmed by any official representative.
