Nikolai Milkovich once again impressed, this time posting the fourth fastest time of the day. The Russian just edged out Karl Beckenbauer, whom will have to settle with fifth on the grid on race day. Marcus Thunder was sixth for Downton, while Elroy Wagner was seventh quickest for Team 23. In potentially his last race as the reigning world champion, Nathaniel Powers will start the race from eighth. Jean Mattson will start from ninth, ahead of Tumo Kinnumen who will start from tenth.
Lewis Ellington was eleventh fastest for Peugeot; the Englishman will srart ahead of Romano Agostino in twelfth, Enzo Domenicalli in thirteenth, and Carson Davenport in fourteenth. Diego Campos will start the race eleven grid spots down the grid then his teammate in fifteenth. Kurtis Gardner was the sixteenth quickest driver of the day, ahead of Puccio Giodano, Ivan Lesic, and Hugh Dwyer. Abel Osterhagen will start from twentith in his Warrior ahead of his teammate James Harding. Keith Boston had a miserable qualifying session only edging out the Force Australia's of Hiroto Nakumaya and Felix Beyer.
Weather reports suggest that we may have a slight chance of rain effecting the race tomorrow. Enrique Ruiz will know that he must pull five points over his teammate Will Hoskins to take the championship fight to the final round in Mexico.
