With only one race left in the 2014 season, the race calendar for 2015 is still yet to be decided; with many current races on the threat of missing out on next year. Series CEO Nic Morley has explained why it is taking so long to confirm the 2015 calender and that there is a possibility a new team may make it next year.
"It's taking a bit of time and that's natural with the big change happening for next season. There is so much more to explore and so much more to learn that it can be quite difficult for myself and those involved. I have a fairly rough idea what the 2015 calendar will be, but nothing is confirmed yet, and to be honest I doubt there will be any announcements by the end of the year. I do aplogise and I can see that team mangers and fans may feel a little in the dark over this. I am working hard to get things finalized and an official race calendar for next year will be revealed sometime in the future, but I don't think it will be before the end of the year unfortunately", explained Nic Morley.
The Australian billionaire also revealed that there is a possibility that he may allow a new team enter the series for 2015. Wether that he will aloow thirteen teams remains to be seen.
"The series has twelve strong teams which is really good. I can see the interest from other parties and I really appreciate that, this is really great. There are many spots int he junior series to put your team in if you cant find a spot in the main series. I can understand that it is difficult because it is tight. However I am always open to possibilities of what may happen down the road", finalized Nic Morley as he rushed away to catch his flight to Mexico.
