The storms from practice hung around during the morning, however dried up throughout the session. By the end of the hour long session the sun was out with the track bone dry. This didn't matter at all for Will Hoskins who led comfortably in the wet and in the dry. Enrique Ruiz made it to be another Franklin front row lockout, although over three tenths from his teammate. Nathaniel Powers continue his impressive form in practice with a brilliant lap in the dying seconds to put him third on the grid and under a tenth slower then Ruiz. The ever impressive Nikolai Milkovich was fourth fastest with an final flying lap. Adrien Simon was fifth fastest after another disappointing session for Liverpool Grand Prix. He was followed by the Westwood of Tumo Kinnumen in sixth, Lewis Ellington with the seventh fastest time, and Elroy Wagner rounding out the top eight after a promising session for Team 23. Indianapolis race winner Diego Campos was ninth quickest; ensuring that Ingram have certainly made leaps in terms of performance. Enzo Domenicalli was tenth after a poor day for Scuderia Rossi; Puccio Giodano being excluded from the session. Carson Davenport was the highest placed Lucas car in eleventh ahead of Jean Mattson in his return to racing. It was a disaster for fourteenth and fifteenth fastest Marcus Thunder and Karl Beckenbauer. Both drivers looked steady early on in the session, however their final laps included costly mistakes. Fun F1 could only manage seventeenth in the hands of Hugh Dwyer, as Romano Agostino sat out after his exclusion from qualifying. Felix Beyer was nineteenth for Force Australia ahead of his teammate and both Warrior Racing drivers. Although the end of qualifying produced sunny weather, the opposite is predicted for the race. Weather reports are suggesting rain will effect the race at some point, with a slim chance of a monsoon. Franklin F1 will be wary of this, after both drivers failed to enter the points at Indianapolis after locking out the front row of the grid. Here they have done it again, while their championship rivals Liverpool will need to pull out all the strengths to hold onto their championship lead. Nathaniel Powers will be looking to put his Indy frustrations behind him and take his first win as world champion for Downton. Nikola Milkvoich lines up fourth and as the United States showed; Ingram have what it takes to win races.
