The Australian driver James Harding is set to stay with the Italian team Molto Veloce for another year after a series of impressive and consistent performances in Britain, (where he had an unfortunate brake failure) Spain (definitely his most noteworthy performance to date, only spoiled by having to make an extra pit-stop for fuel) and the most recent race in Canada.
After his performance in Spain Lucas Wilson (team boss of Lucas Wilson GP) took an interest in James Harding and started discussions with the driver about a contract for next season (2). Discussions continued with both L.W.GP and Molto Veloce for some time until Lucas Wilson pulled out having secured another contact for the next season with driver Jonas Phipps. Xaviano Grassi Owner of the Molto Veloce team Known in the F1F VWC paddock for his Dark shades and Short temper had this to say after the signing "He is Fast and consistent, This is what we need. We have no time here for messing around, so unless you are these things, forget about it." James Harding on his contract extension "For sure it is nice the have the luxury of a contract for next season this early, y'know.. the team only made the grid at the last moment this year, so i wasn't even thinking about a drive in the series , so how much they have improved the car from being last in the first race to being in a consistent points scoring position is fantastic mate. I have no doubt the team will continue to improve and yeah, once again happy to be staying."
