New recruit for Peugeot, Lewis Ellington is said to be happy after signing a contract with them for next season. After losing his seat amongst the BMW Zyla controversy, Lewis Ellington is now signed to Peugeot for next season.
Ellington is said to be pleased to be in a team with strong foundations and a strong set of minds. He was distraught when he lost out because of BMW Zyla but is pleased he has found his feet in a calm team with an eye on the future. Ellington said, 'I am happy to be in a team where I know I won't lose my drive because of the team's behaviour. I have faith in my team principal and he has faith in me that we will work together well and hopefully have a long partnership'. Ellington also wished to apologise to Franklin F1 team principal, Jamie Franklin, 'I wish to apologise for the behaviour that was directed towards Jamie Franklin at the start of the season. I would like to say that it was my management directing the remarks towards you as they were bitter about my loss of drive. I have left the group and I am under management by a small family group. Once again sorry.' The team have expressed their happiness on taking on Ellington and are expected to keep him for seasons to come providing that he impresses when on track. The latest rumours circulating Peugeot for next season are that Kazuki Armos wants Frances Bouvert in the number two car with Jean dePanon in the test team. Another rumour travelling around the media is that Peugeot won't appear in GP2 next season if the programme fails to impress. The team have not commented on this.

Well all contracts were turned to one year contracts anyway. I spoke to Lewis the other day and he said he didn't want to have anything to do with you. He said you destroyed his career and will never forgive you.
