While the series has undergone big changes in recent months, there has been one issue that has dragged on. Questions and speculation has continued of what races will feature on the 2015 race calender. CEO Nic Morley revealed what the 2015 calender will look like for this year, however noted that some are still provisional. Official 2015 race calendar * subject to approval What is instantly noticeable is the ammount of tracks that will be making their debut in 2015. These include Buenos Aires, Kyalmi, Jerez, Paul Ricard, Detroit, Nurburgring, Zandvoort, and Imola. The Argentinian, South African, and Dutch Grand Prix will make their debut in 2015. With such big changes in the calendar this has left the Bahrain, and Austrian Grand Prix off the calendar. Circuits such as Barcelona, Magny-Cours, Indianapolis, Hockenheim, Red Bull Ring, and Monza have been removed.
However it is believed that Imola and Monza will share the Italian Grand Prix, alternating from year to year. "There are such big changes in the calendar for this year. It's very exiting to be able to visit these new locations, and I belive will give the series something fresh. It's probable we will return to tracks such as Barcelona, Hockenheim and such, but it is important for change every so often. Some of the races are subject to approval, but this is the 2015 calendar and the absolute aim is to get all these tracks signed up before the time comes that they must host them. It's an exiting calendar and I can not wait until the 2015 season begins", said Nic Morley.
